My deepest sympathies to Angelo's family and friends. I only met Angelo a few times at the saddle bag  lunch in the park and met Terri and one of their daughters at that time and I could tell what a close family they are and how impressed I was with Angelo's character. Thanks to Bob Corrigan and Jim Such I had the honor of meeting you and how deeply saddened I was to hear this tragic news. Terry and daughters..  I am so very sorry to hear of Angelo’s passing. I streamed the lovely church service. I remember him walking into Lander Elementary and talking/laughing while there. I wish the best for your family in light of the suddenness of losing a cherished husband and beloved dad. I’m sure Angelo will be greatly missed. Hugs to you.

Angelo helped me get my first part time firefighting job at Kirtland Fire, where I spend 10 years and made alot of great friends. I was always grateful for him looking out for me  kick starting my career . We smoked cigars together at Jovanns. I was only 25 years old then. Now im turning 40 and I am now a career firefighter paramedic at Euclid Fire. I loved Kirtland so much my wife and I now live in Kirtland with our
two kids. I can guarantee my life would not be where it is today without Angelo helping me get my start. He will never be forgotten about in this household. When people ask me how I became a Fireman, Angelos name will always be mentioned with a smile.
Angelo you are one of the best people I have ever met and you WILL always be the best!  Rest in peace  my friend. 

My deepest sympathies to Martorello family. I worked with Angelo at Schweizer-Dipple.  Although I hadn’t worked with Ange for very long, he definitely made an impression. He was a great guy to work with and could always be counted on to always help out any way he could. 

I remember him talking about the days when he used to work out at Perry Nuclear Power Plant and it reminded me of when my dad used to work out there about the same time. Another thing I’ll always remember is the day he stopped in around the holidays and gave me a container of Sicilian olives 🫒 from Gallucci’s. We always used to joke about how easy it was to drop over a $100 bucks in there.

Nicole has always been one of my all time favorite fourth graders at Lander School.  I remember during parent orientation I was working late in the evening and when Terri and Angelo came to my conference for Nicole, they brought me a homeade Italian dinner!  I remember Angelo telling me how much I deserved this and remember this every parent-teacher conference!

To my Brother I never had, there were so many things we shared these past 48 years as Brother's, our Family's, our Friends, our lives. Some things I would like to forget, some I could never forget. Like packing you home on the Superglide when your tranny took a dump in NY., in the rain, you whispering in my ear all the way busting my you know what's, you had the rain suit, I didn't. 
You showed what true love is when you talked to me about Ter and The Girls, your face always lit up. 
You loved my Family (our children, my Mom & Dad and the rest of the crew) like they were your own. That meant so much to them, Gail and I. 
We had our challenges over the years but know I never stopped loving you as my Brother.
Take some solice in knowing that if Ter, Nic, Jen and Angelina need anything Gail & I will be there.

 My heart is heavy upon hearing of my cousin Biggie’s passing.  Although we didn’t see one another often,  an upbeat conversation always included how much he loved Terri and his girls, how proud he was of them and how Terri deserved all the credit!  Biggie had the biggest smile and was full of life!  Being with him always left me feeling happy to have had a chance to touch base with him at a family wedding or reunion.  Rest In Peace dear cousin.  My heart goes out to Terri and  daughters and Biggie’s  sisters Angela and Christine.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Will dearly miss Angelo’s “Hey - what’s up” is his loud voice.  I will miss his pre-covid hugs.  I will miss his very close friendship with Clyde.   I will miss all the laughs we shared & Angelo’s stories.  He was never at a loss for words or a story.
Wish we could have shared more upcoming RV trips with both you & Angelo.  We had lots of laughs, good talks, good drinks, and excellent  food (you guys fed us so gourmet) – like I keep saying, if you left the food up to me you would get meat, potato, vegetable!

Four Mile Creek State Park in New York – Our 1st RV trip you guys.  We hit the casino and Niagra Falls, making Clyde drive the RV thru those narrow streets in Niagra Falls and the Casino. And the excellent meal you guys cooked for us when Tonawanda Dave and Kathy came up to visit us the one day – really good memory.

Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio –Will be a great memory for me that full day hikes we did.  Started out ok with the flat (but long) walk, then we hit the caves, rock formations, etc.  It was tough, but glad we got to share that agony (and beauty) with 2 people we love.

Salt Fork State Park in Ohio – another great trip with you guys, visiting Roscoe Village was nice.   Then the issue with the RV.  But the Clyde & Angelo worked hard together to diagnose & fix the problem (in the rain).

You were all ways at the Hall to help for functions Once handing out Turkey you were reaching me one when the net broke and it hit my foot breaking two toes, we had so many laughs and good times. You will be forever in our Hearts enjoy that Chopper in the sky

I remember when you finally you got that damn winner on your power-ball ticket buddy, I’ll never forget that day. Someone once wrote in a song “We’ve come a long way ... from where we began”.... there has never been a truer lyric to a song. Who would of thought that once or twice a day for 30 years, having you walk in and out of those Mayland Beverage doors as many times as you did, that I’d still be left feeling the way that I do. I’m HEARTBROKEN. I was truly blessed to have you in my life, for the little bit of time that I did have. We can all so easily take time for granted, right up until when we run out of it. 😔 The conversations, the advice, the projects, the laughs, the good and bad times, right down to those breakfast sandwiches we loved to share, NONE of it....will NEVER EVER be forgotten.

You were in our lives before I even entered this world. This photo is you with my big brother a year before I was born. Growing up, our house was a commune for all of the friends of the 1970’s and with my father being an only child, the group was (and still is) his brothers and sisters. This is why you will always be “Uncle Ang”. My brother and I were the first kids born within this group while you all were still in your early 20s. You, Aunt Terri, Uncle Kevin, Uncle Clyde, Uncle Bronco, Louis, Uncle Mike D, Uncle JS had an enormous impact on my brother and I growing up. We didn’t even bother trying to make friends our own age because no one could compare to the level of cool you all had and still have. I am so grateful for all of the memories... a time and characters no one could even write! These good times happened and can never be taken away. You are a legend and larger than life, which is why I will never ever forget you and I know the rest of the world won’t either. With a heavy heart and so much affection and love. -April

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mr. Martorello as the first base coach during our Mayfield Heights summer softball games. I would get nervous about running everytime I was up to bat, but then I’d see him there at the base  with a big smile/laugh cheering me on to run faster.  I remember him as a funny, lighthearted, great Dad to his daughters. Sending prayers and hugs to all of you.

My heart is heavy with the loss of my friend Angelo. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Terri, Nicole, Jennifer, Angelina and their family. Angelo was a very tough individual and had a heart of gold. I will miss him. Rest in peace my friend until we ride again.

I will never forget the time Angelo came over to our house and knocked on the door in full costume as Mickey Mouse for Arianna and Armando. I think they were in complete shock, as was I, not knowing at first who was under the costume. I knew it could only be Angelo because of his gentle humor and his big, warm, marshmellowy heart that he had. He always was there trying to make them smile and laugh. We will never forget your gentle heart. I will never forget the stories and all the laughter we had outside either raking up leaves or shoveling snow. It is those small, precious moments in time that become memories and that is what means the most.....memories!

Angelo  will be remembered for his Sicilian spirit.  His loving smile.  His pride for his daughters and his love of his wife.
