

DAVID WILLIAM SCHWARTZ of Cleveland entered into rest on March 14, 2016. Born December 20, 1950 in Cleveland, he was predeceased by his parents, Margaret Lucille Johngrass Schwartz and Harold A. Schwartz. He is survived by his brother Gary (Cynthia) of Buffalo, NY and numerous relatives in the Greater Cleveland Area. David was a graduate of Mayfield High School and Cooper School of Art where he developed an interest in photography. In the 1980s, he has an original work entered into a Cleveland Museum of Art show and received an Honorable Mention. He had a life-long love of bicycling, participating in a number of Century Rides and fun races as well as volunteering with organizations that provided rebuilt bicycles for under-privileged children. Mr. Schwartz worked for Cleveland Oak and its successor business, Lewis and Goetz of Brooklyn Heights for more than 35 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ohio City Bicycle Corporation, 1840 Columbus Road, Cleveland, OH 44113. A celebration of David’s life will take place at 4 PM Saturday March 19 at THE DiCICCO AND SONS FUNERAL HOME 5975 MAYFIELD RD.
