EMMA SCOTT STOLL. Beloved mother of Colleen Stoll and Renee Powell (Patrick), and Nana of Alexandra Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Giovanna Scott; by her brothers, Victor (Rachel), Eugene (Helen), and Lawrence; and by her sisters Corine (Vincent) Chiarucci and Weda Scott. She was a cherished aunt and great aunt to many. She was a vibrant, curious, and determined woman who took great pride in her Italian immigrant roots. She carried a lifelong love of learning and approached life with curiosity, resilience, and a deep appreciation for knowledge and connection. A non-traditional student, she returned to college later in life, with braces and all, yet remained young at heart. Through grit and perseverance, she achieved her goal of earning a college degree, graduating summa cum laude with a double major after seven years of dedicated effort. After obtaining her college degree, she worked as an Executive Marketing Assistant in the Board of Governors at the Cleveland Clinic for over a decade. She loved every aspect of it.Voted most popular girl in high school and proudly part of the Homecoming Queen’s Court, she combined warmth and confidence with a deeply inquisitive mind. She asked thoughtful questions, took careful notes, and never settled for an answer until she truly understood! Euchre and poker were two of her favorite games; her competitive spirit became evident! Her creativity shone through in her card-making and scrapbooking endeavors. We will always cherish the personalized birthday and graduation cards she lovingly created. She also shared treasured family recipes, especially her egg sauce spaghetti and homemade fudge, which will continue to be enjoyed for generations.
