JOHN T. BLAKE, age 81, passed away November 26, 2022, after losing his battle with cancer. Born in Sidney, Ohio and living in Chagrin Falls, OH and Vero Beach, FL, he was a lifetime banker with Central National Bank, Society National Bank and KeyBank for 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Meredith (nee Asbury) and daughters Betsy Blake, Jennifer Kramer (Rob) and Amy Bamford (David). Also, grandchildren Alex and Abby Blake, Kimmie Hennis, Katie Kramer, and Max, Jack and Ella Bamford, and great grandchildren Parker and Bowen Blake. He is also survived by his sisters Judy Cruse and Joanne Swiger (Steve) (and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dearly loved friends). An avid golfer, he was a member of Bent Pine Golf Club (FL) and previously was a member of Canterbury Golf Club (Cleveland), The Golf Club & The Lakes Golf Club (Columbus), Moraine Golf Club (Dayton), and Overlake Golf & Country Club (Seattle). The family will hold a private interment in Sidney, OH. A Celebration of Life will be held in 2023 at Bent Pine Golf Club (Vero Beach, FL).
