John Joseph Sutter

John Joseph Sutter, age 83 passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. Son to Blasius and Anna Sutter (nee Steinbender)(both deceased); Husband to the late Deanna Jean Sutter (nee Bertram); Father to Catherine Sutter Menon and Christina Lynn Rodrigues (nee Sutter)(deceased); Father In Law to Heron Rodrigues and Vishal Menon (deceased); Grandfather to Lucia Faith Rodrigues and Olivia Jean Menon; Brother to Martin Sutter (wife Grace), Michael Sutter (wife Pat), Joe Sutter (wife Cathy, deceased) and Marian Sedlak (husband Don)(both deceased); A fantastic uncle to many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was a wonderful human being. He lived thru so much, from immigrating to the United States from Romania during WW2, settling in the Cleveland area and meeting the love of his life, Deanna at Kent State during freshman year math class. Relocating to Evanston, IL and then Winnetka, IL. John and Deanna raised two beautiful children, Chrissy and Cadi whom they deeply adored. As a family they shared many adventures and lots of laughter. Sadly both Chrissy and Deanna passed but John and Cadi kept the family spirit alive and continued to live life with grace and strength and love. John made people feel special and loved. He truly was an amazing human being. He will be missed by all those that loved him, and there were many.
