It’s devastating to lose someone like Joe. I remember sitting with him and Erin at a wedding, Erin was like two weeks away from delivering Elena. During the father daughter dance, I remember Joe breaking down hysterically. All he could talk about was being a dad, and how all he could think about was the day he gave her away at her future wedding. Nothing seemed to bring him more joy than the years of fatherhood he had.

Hi Joe,
I would like to share a memory dating back to the first time we met, in September 2009.
We were at your grandparents' house and just a few minutes before the photograph was taken, we were on the sofa talking about music and you sang 'The Real Slim Shady' without missing a single word, rapping along with Eminem.
Honestly, I don't know how long it took you to learn it, but you nailed it!
Now this song unites us and this memory and the smile that you have in the photo is how I will remember you.

Matteo, my dearest cousin, I cannot find the words to express my deepest condolences for the loss of your dear son. My sisters and all my nephews join me in offering you our heartfelt sympathy. This is truly a very difficult time for you, and we understand the pain you are feeling in your heart.

We hope that the Lord may guide you along this challenging path that you have been walking for a long time due to so many unfortunate events in your life. Do not lose faith in God; always trust in Him. Let Him comfort you and give you the strength to endure the fears, anxieties, and sorrows.

I wish I could give you a big, strong hug in person. Yesterday, I celebrated Mass and remembered Joe. Do not lose courage! May God grant you the strength of faith, hope, and love.

I did not know this fine young man, but I do have a close friend that has known him  a very long time.  I am so very sorry to hear of this tragedy.
Praying for the lord to watch over all of his friends and relatives during this time.

One of my fondest memories of Joe was our group trip to Bryson city North Carolina. We caught up, laughed and Joe cried tears of joy when announcing that he and Erin were expecting their first baby girl.

Matt, we are so heartbroken to hear the news of Joe's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and his entire family. Joe was always such a kind young man, may he rest in peace.
