Our patriarch Nicholas T. Giorgianni died January 26, 2024, two days short of his 90th birthday. He died of heart failure, peacefully, in the presence of spouse Alda and children Mark, Lisa, and Paul. Nick was the son of Frank and Mary Giorgianni and the brother of Katherine DeAngelis. For all of Nick’s commendable attributes, we are most inspired by his generosity, loyalty, and work ethic. He was the spouse of one, father of three, grandfather of five, and leader of many. He was an alumnus of John Adams High School and Kent State University, and he served in the U.S. Army. He spent his career with Sohio and BP America. He was devoted to the Kent State chapter of the Delta Upsilon fraternity, which he credited with “helping me become a better person and a better businessman.” Nick requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to DU-KSU Alumni Chapter, Inc., 83 Hawthorne Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44303. Visiting hours Tuesday, January 30, 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Road. Funeral mass at St. Anselm Church in Chesterland Wednesday, January 31 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
