Peter P. Lipovecs, age 89. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Bella), dearest father of Kathy Kibort (Bob), Peter Lipovecs and Susie Paradise (Dan); devoted grandfather of Ryan Hemphill, Sarah Kibort, Noah Kibort, Anthony Lipovecs, Nathan Lipovecs, Kayla Paradise and Christopher Paradise; great grandfather

of 7.

Mr. Lipovecs came over from Hungary in 1956 during the Hungarian revolution to start a new life.

Started in Watertown NY and had Peter and Kathy.

He completed his Journeyman Machinist training at Kodak not knowing the language and taught himself.

He excelled at it.

He moved to Cleveland as a single parent raising Kathy and Peter.

Susan was a teacher in Hungary and one of her coworkers who was Peters relative told her about Peter in the US.

They started writing letters to each other and Susan came to the US to meet Peter and within a year they were married and had Susie.

Peter started working at Eaton Corporation and thanks to his Dear friend Joseph Poecze for his assistance in getting him in such a great company.

Peter loved the outdoors.. nature.. fishing.

Some great memories were made with his daughter Susie going fishing at Lake Chautauqua waking up at

3 am to start the day of fishing. That’s when the fish bite he would say.

Peter also had a great sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. He was loved by many and had a big heart.

He loved to dance at the Hungarian balls and at a young age he loved doing the jitterbug.

Funeral service 8 PM Friday February 4 at The DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home 5975 Mayfield Rd. Mayfield Hts., (at Lander Rd.) where the family will receive friends from 7 PM until time of service. Online condolences and guest registry www.diciccoandsonsfh.com
