So sorry to hear of your passing Ray. We grew up together on Villa Drive and I have fond memories  of cruising in your car and listening to Deep Purple Machine Head on 8 track. Heaven is waiting.

I will Always remember the Joyful times at the Holiday Inn with Disco Ray. Always had a smile on his face and dancing with his sparkling Disco Outfits and light up shoes. Love Ya Brother ❤️ You will be deeply missed my friend 😢

Ray was definitely one of the greatest hearted people I knew. He loved everyone that came in his path, but most of all, he loved God and I know he is with Him now. It was beyond an honor to consider Ray my friend and he will be deeply missed. All who knew him will be in my deepest prayers. Love you "Rockin Ray"!

                          I was so blessed to have found you.  Your love was definitely a gift from God.  I can’t believe you are gone. We had such a short time to be husband and wife. So sorry to hear about the passing of my cousin Ray.  I was a frequent shopper at Alesci’s. I saw Ray there often over the years. We always talked family, the Browns and his love of Disco Inferno and dancing! He showed me a lot of his disco outfits and videos.

I will miss those conversations and his smiling face.

Ray has touched so many of us in the dance world and will be truly missed.  Seeing the joy and love unfold between Ray and Jeannie was absolutely breathtaking.   I will cherish the last video we have together ❤️.

My heart was so heavy when my sister saw the news about Ray on Facebook and called me. 
In 1981 to 1995 I worked at Alesci's South Euclid with Ray, Ray's brother Dominic and Dominic's wife Angie. 
To Ray's wife, children, family, and Alesci's employees my CONDOLENCE.

Ray always lit up Club Impulse - figuratively and literally! He brought us all joy at the club and was a blessing to all who knew him! Ray won’t be resting in heaven - he’ll be dancing in heaven!

He was a kind and gentle soul with stories that could last a lifetime, and they were always worth the listen. 
He was a man with pride and cared for what he loved. I guarantee nobody has seen a Ford Five Hundred in better condition than his.

Raymond, Rest in Peace, cuz. So happy you spent these last years at Alesci,s ,and i was able to visit with you on many, many occasions. You always had the biggest smile on your face when i walked up to the meat counter. We shared so many memories  laughing about our family members who already got their wings. Mom always talked about her wings, lol i remember when you were 2 yrs old and mom called you T.O, for tough operator. And how i babysat for you and Joeann,sissy, and spent weekends at your house, with grandma upstairs. And we would go for sunday rides, you, sissy, great memories. You will be so missed. Will be so hard walking into Alesci,s knowing you are now forever gone. Party on, cuz, keep your dancing feet hoppin.  Mom and Dad are waiting for you. They have your wings for you. R.I.P.😘

I've known the Cabot family for over 40 years. Raymond Loved his family dearly. I know he had Great faith and is enjoying his New home that God has prepared for him. So many laughs, I know I will always remember his laugh it was contagious. Watched many Brown's games back in the day always saying this was the year, Unfortunately it never was, but we had a blast anyway.

Dear Raymond. You and your mother brought me to the love of the divine mercy  18 years ago. I will never forget that first Monday Night at Saint   Clare  church in Mayfield Heights when my sister Audree and I met you and your mother to first pray the prayer of Saint Faustina the Divine Mercy. Your devotion to this prayer has stayed with me as I pray at daily now and each day as I pray, I pray for you and your mother, my dear cousin Connie. I will never forget you for many reasons, but my primary thinks is for bringing me to this beautiful prayer thank you Raymond and rest in peace

What can I say? I can't believe I have to write on my brother's obituary.  I believe my love for music came from him and his many nights coming home feeling "Happy" putting his headphones on that were larger than life and jamming out. I can remember hearing it in my room while I was supposed to be sleeping but instead toe-tapping.  Loved his laugh and his infectious way to make you laugh. I am glad that my daughter shares this with him and often say she is a mini "Unkie". I will miss seeing him boogie. You dance your ass off all the way up to heaven.  It is going to be one party up there when you show and trust me they will know when you are coming.  You could land planes with your outfits. I will deeply miss you and I am sorry you got cut so short.  I love you "Disco Ray"

Raymond Cabot was a father to his two children, Raymond Jr. and Jennifer Ann. He was a beloved brother to Joeann, Dominic, and Grace. His parents preceded him in death. Raymond was also an uncle to many.

Raymond spent over 50 years at Alesci’s before retiring—a testament to his loyalty, perseverance, and the relationships he built over a lifetime of service.

Outside of work, Raymond found joy in the things that made life fun. He loved cars, had a passion for bowling, and never passed up the chance to dance. His energy, humor, and enthusiasm for the simple pleasures of life will be remembered by all who knew him. Many will remember his infectious laugh and fun he brought to any conversation.

Still can't believe u are gone. Keep Dancing Up In Heaven. You kept us on our Toes at Disco Inferno and at the Holiday Inn. You will be Deeply Missed
