Richard "Rick" F. Kenney

Richard “Rick” F. Kenney, 75, left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 27, 2021. Rick was an outgoing, charming, and fun-loving man. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and spent many years as a salesman, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. Rick enjoyed being a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as an active member of Harvest Community Church in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Denise L. von Loewe (nee Rumora); children Sue Kenney-Pfalzer, Rick D. Kenney, and Eric Kenney; stepchildren Scott von Loewe, Diana von Loewe Raines, Katherine von Loewe, and Danielle Mecaskey; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Teresa Taylor. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Mary T. (nee McDermott) and Edward A. Kenney, and brother, Edward A. Kenney Jr. The family will receive friends at the DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home 5975 Mayfield Rd. Mayfield Hts., (at Lander Rd.) on Wednesday, Dec. 29 from 3-7pm. The funeral service will be at Harvest Community Church, 36400 Maplegrove Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 11am where the family will receive friends from 10 am until time of service.
