Arnie and I will always remember Rose - from all of the different theaters we ushered with Rose and Bill - Dobama, Cain Park and Playhouse Square.  And we often talked about riding bicycles with both of you, since we lived so close.  But it never happened.  So sorry about that.  We drive by the house all the time, and always wave Hi to Bill.  Hope to see you soon.

It's hard to believe Rose has been gone for 2 years.  We are neighbors (a few streets away) and ushered with Rose & Bill for years.  It's so nice to see Bill every now and then.  So sorry for your family that Rose is gone.  We definitely miss her.

I'm so incredibly heartbroken to hear of Rose's passing. 

My life is so much better because she & Bill  have been in it. They volunteered at Cleveland Public Theatre long before I came on board, but I had the blessing of working with them for five years. They have inspired me with their kindness, their strength, their zest for life, and their passionate love for each other, for the arts, and for volunteering. I always think of them as a duo because were such a strong pair.  My husband and I would always look at them together with awe and wonder, and think "that's the dream". Rose always gave me the best hugs. She was always so sweet to me and always ready to volunteer more if we needed them. I will miss her dearly.

To her family, I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. 

To Bill, I am sending you so much love during this time. You and Rose have been such a light in my life. Thank you so much for everything.  Love you both.

Mrs. De Capite was our next door neighbor for over 50 years.
She as the most loving person and the greatest neighbor to our whole family.
We loved their patio fountain and bocce court!
My dad would teach my daughter how to play bocce in their back yard. To this day our favorite game is bocce and we play as a family.
Every Thursday night there would be a bocce game for all the neighbors and then a party afterwards.
The DeCapite's came to all of our family events and were always there for us!
We will always remember Mrs. DeCapite smiling she was always smiling and so in love with Bill and loved her family so much!
We will miss her so very much!!

Bill and Rose volunteered with me at Severance and Cain Park.  Rose was a warm and friendly woman.  I am so glad to have known her. Rose's grandchildren, Scott and Emily, were my students at Ruffing Montessori School.  I remember them fondly.  Rose and her family  will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Though I have only known Rose just the last decade, I always enjoyed her cheerful, knowledgeable, willing spirit and  instantly felt  we were fast friends.

Rose was such an asset to the CIFF where we spent the most time together.  I will miss her terribly.  RIP, Rose.

I was most saddened to hear of Rose's passing.

My memories of Rose and Bill go back to the good old days of the South Euclid/ Lyndhurst Kiwanis.  We had great times, especially during our annual Ox-Roasts.

My prayers are with Bill and his family during this difficult time.

We were so sorry to hear about Rose's passing.  We have ushered with Rose & Bill for more than a decade - at Cain Park, Dobama, and Cleveland Playhouse.  We also live very close to them, and would pass by their house a lot and wave hi (whether they saw us or not)!  We wanted to ride bicycles with them many years ago, but never got it together.   We will miss Rose a lot, and hope that Bill gets better very soon.  

I was a House Manager at PlayhouseSquare and worked with Rose and Bill most of the years I was there.   The two of them did whatever was asked of them and always with a smile.  Love seeing them working foe me.   Rose was such  a friendly, lovely person.  She will be miss by all the places she volunteered at.  May she Rest In Peace 

This world was truly blessed to have Rose in it.  I was so lucky to have known her.  What a loving giving caring woman. All the years of her volunteering, brought many friends and acquaintances into her life. I know I love her and always will for the woman that she is and continues to be.She is now a special angel in heaven watching over each and everyone of us. Till we meet again.

Will miss Rose very much.  She and Bill ushered with me on Box Level Thursday evenings at Severance Hall for many years.  We made a great team.  Rest in peace, Rose.     

Rose and Bill were part of the Wednesday team  at Playhouse  for many years with me.  Rose was very possitive and happy to help in any position.  She was so knowledgeable about the plays and always shared other movie reviews and local theater performances they had attended.  So sorry for the loss of this great lady.  Praying Bill will recover.

I met Rose with Bill as a Redcoat at Playhouse Square and then again as we all volunteered for the film festival.  Both made life fun and full of love for each other!  I enjoyed Rose’s sense of humor.  She (and they as a couple) were an inspiration to all who met them.  Bill and your entire family is in my prayers.
