SALVATORE VINCENT INGRASSIA, age 95 passed into the arms of our heavenly father September 25, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Virzi); loving father of Joseph (Maureen), Carmen Nicolosi (Joseph) and Antoinette Galipo (Nunzio); grandfather of Joseph Jr. "Joey", Andrew, Salvatore (Tricia), Bridget (Brian), Maryanna (Steve), Katie, Nicholas (Amanda) and Vincent; and great grandfather of Christian, Deena, Alexis, Tera and Lincoln; dear brother of Carl, Mary Antonow (his twin), Nellie Vespoli, Theresa Capretta, Josephine Calafiura and Margaret Ingrassia (all Deceased) and brother in law of Anthony (deceased), Andrew, Nick and Carmen (Nancy)Virzi. Uncle and great uncle of many in Ohio and California. Sam, a longtime resident of Mayfield Hts. was born to Giuseppe and Josephine in Wellington, Ohio on November 26, 1919. He was a proud World War II Veteran serving as a medic in the Army Air Corp at Okinawa and Pearl Harbor. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM Monday September 28, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6850 Mayfield Rd. Gates Mills, OH. 44040. His final resting place will be by the side of his loving wife Mary at All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the DiCICCO AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS.
