

VIRGINIA ANNE LAWLEY "Ginny" (nee Millard) 91, peacefully passed away on November 12, 2025. Beloved wife of 70 years to Donald P Lawley (deceased). Born in Syracuse, NY, she was a resident of Mayfield Village for 37 years. Ginny's friends and family would say she was generous, selfless, kind, and compassionate. Always with a smile on her face and full of love and laughter, a wonderful friend to all. Her true passion was her husband and family, cooking Sunday dinners for everyone until she couldn't. Ginny was an avid reader who enjoyed golfing, gardening, shopping for others, and playing bridge with the Edison Road Gang. Mother to Patricia Lawley, Ann Marie Lawley, Mark Lawley (deceased) Suzanne Lawley (deceased) and Cathleen Lawley. Grandmother to Anthony Biello (Jessica), Michael Biello (deceased), Stephen Forlani (Melissa), Mark Forlani, and Ian Henderson. Great Grandmother to Gianna Biello, Dominic Biello, Nico Forlani, and Marco Forlani. She also leaves behind brother, James Millard of North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers George and Jack, and sister Jean. Ginny was beloved by everyone who knew her, especially those who cared for her the past 3 years. We appreciate all of you for being there and want to personally thank the caregivers at The Winfield of Richmond Heights and The Hospice of The Western Reserve. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ginny's memory to The Hospice of Western Reserve at www.hospicewr.org. Memorial Mass 11:00 AM Saturday November 29th at St. Noel Church, 35200 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills, OH 44094, where the family will receive friends 10:30 AM until time of Mass.
