William J. Patrick Sr., age 82. Loving husband of Bonnie A. Patrick (nee McKee), Dear father of Bill Jr. (Tammy), Todd (Jill), Maureen (deceased), Michael Ernst (Michelle) and Tricia Goff (Anthony). Grandfather of Kevin (Lexi), Alyssa, Kristen, Bobby (Rachel), Michael, Mark, Sammy, Lauren and Grace. Bill was born & raised in Mayfield Heights, the only child of June & Jack Patrick. Bill started working at age 9 delivering newspapers on Lander Rd. and was a Junior Volunteer at the Mayfield Heights Fire Department. He bought his first gas station at the age of 17 and continued providing services to his neighbors until 1998 at Patrick’s Transmission. Upon “retirement”, Bill continued working until May of 2023 full time at Jobbers Automotive using his expertise of car parts. In Bill’s spare time you would find him tinkering around in his garage or fooling with his two-way (Ham) radios. Bill was a hard-working loyal man who will be missed dearly. The family suggests donations to Hospice of the Western Reserve or to Mayfield Pet Hospital. Graveside service 12 noon Friday July 5 at Knollwood Cemetery 1678 SOM Ctr. Rd.
