

Beverly Kriegman Greenberg Farkas, of West Palm Beach, Florida, died on Nov. 1, 2021, at the age of 94. She developed dementia 10 years ago and spent the last three years being cared for at the Oasis Nursing Facility in Lake Worth, Florida. She passed away peacefully at the facility.
Beverly grew up in Newark, N.J. and was a Weequahic girl. She graduated from high school and went to art school in St, Louis, Missouri.
Beverly was a housewife and an artist who enjoyed two long and successful marriages. She was married to Jack Greenberg, a dentist, who practiced in Newark and Maplewood. N.J. and then to Richard Farkas, a retailer, who owned Fae Lynn at the Bluestar Shopping Center, in Watchung, N.J.
Beverly enjoyed golf, art (especially acrylic painting), and college and professional football. She rooted for Rutgers, Richard’s Steelers, and their Dolphin’s. She enjoyed the country club life and was a member of Hillcrest C.C. in Hollywood and Boca Point C.C. in Boca Raton.
She is survived by her children, Alan Greenberg (New Jersey), Laurie Greenberg (Florida), and Roy Greenberg and his wife, Paula (Tennessee), and by her stepchildren Marcy Kearns (Florida) and Stuart Farkas (Massachusetts), and by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at Lakeside Memorial Park this winter.
