Claire Dobbs Fox was born December 23 1927 in New York to Mildred and Sydney Dobbs. Her father was an accountant and her mother a home maker.
Claire married the love of her life Saul Fox at the age of 20 on December 27, 1947 and worked at the family kosher butcher business in New York for 54 years. She devoted much of her time and energy to family but also loved to travel and watch television game shows and gambling.
Mrs. Fox is survived by her sister Joyce Cohen, her three children: Adrianne Leal (Raul Leal), Andrew Fox and Mitchell Fox; her four grandchildren: Jennifer Leal, Nicole Leal, Gabrielle Leal and Ariel Fox; and her six great-grand children: Isabella Leano, Madeline Leano, James Elijah Leano, Liam Bigger, Finn Bigger, and Emory Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday July 9, 2015 at 10 AM at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels at Mount Nebo (Kendall) 5900 SW 77th Avenue, Miami, FL 33143. Condolences may be sent to 330 Fernwood Road, Key Biscayne, FL 33149.
