Edward Jacob Wendell, known to his family and friends as Ned, passed away at his home in Miami, Florida. Ned graduated from Alison Academy in North Miami Beach and attended Florida International University. He worked in technology sales at Coretek. He was an avid reptile enthusiast and was particularly knowledgeable about exotic and rare species.
Ned is survived by his parents, Laura and George Wendell, his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Hannah and Andrew Colman, and numerous family members and friends.
A service in his memory will be held at the Mt. Nebo Kendall chapel, at 12:30pm on Monday, March 9, 2026. Kendall is located at 5900 SW 77th Ave. in Miami.
