Hermine Wiener, affectionately known as The Bub, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27th surrounded and embraced by family after a wonderfully long life. Her family was always her first priority; from her late mother, Ruth Levin, whom she doted on; to her beloved late husband, Henry, the center of her universe; to three strong, amazing daughters who made her so proud, and who among other things, followed the example she set caring for her loved ones. She treasured and adored her five grandchildren who adored her right back. Hermine had the world’s sunniest disposition; she was truly the sweetest, nicest and best person you could ever hope to meet. Those who knew her were truly blessed.
She was and will always be loved by her children, Joan (Glenn) Rozansky, Lynn Wiener, Robin (Joe) Greitzer; grandchildren, Jordan and Dana Rozansky, Adam, Hallie and Julia Greitzer; and brother Paul (Brenda) Levin. Our family extends our thanks to her special caregivers who also loved her.
Following a private burial, a memorial service will be held at 4pm, Sunday, March 30th at Temple Judea, 5500 Granada Blvd, Coral Gables, where Hermine and Henry raised their family. Shiva at Temple Judea immediately follows the service until 7pm.
For those of you who would like to honor Hermine, simply say something nice to someone today. If you choose to also make a donation, please think of Temple Judea or AileyCamp Miami.
