Ilse Jaeger

Ilse was born in Germany. She married her beloved sweetheart, Roland Jaeger. Ilse and Roland had two daughters, Suzanne and Andrea Jaeger. Ilse received her beautician license, eventually owning her own successful salon in Chicago. With husband Roland, Ilse owned a popular restaurant and lounge in Chicago. Ilse additionally used her chef skills preparing meals for children with cancer and their families at youngest daughter, Andrea’s children’s cancer foundation programs. Ilse spent the majority of her life in Chicago with her family, in Colorado helping children with cancer and in Aventura, Florida being close to family and friends.

Ilse and her husband, Roland, learned how to play tennis by watching it on TV. They both enjoyed teaching daughters Suzanne and Andrea their favorite sports, tennis and soccer. Suzanne graduated Stanford University, playing on their tennis team and Andrea became the #2 ranked professional tennis player in the world at the age of 16. Ilse was loved by people all around the world. She loved helping others and spending time with her family and her friends. Ilse joins her family in heaven, including her husband Roland, sister Ruth and many children with cancer she helped along their journey.

Ilse is survived by her 2 daughters, Suzanne and Andrea Jaeger.

Although Ilse is gone, her loving spirit continues to shine.

A Celebration of Life Chapel Service and Reception at 11am on Sunday September 1, 2024 will be held at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel 17250 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, Florida 33162. The Chapel Service will start promptly at 11am followed by a Celebration of Life Reception.

Ilse received tremendous joy helping youngest daughter Andrea’s Little Star Foundation. Ilse’s heartfelt request just prior to her passing is in lieu of flowers and in sympathy, donations be made to daughter Andrea Jaeger’s Little Star Foundation to continue it’s great work that Ilse gave her heart to throughout her life.
