A generous and humble philanthropist, Jerry supported causes that reflected his values and his community. A Benefactor of Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, Founder of Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Diabetes Research Institute, the University of Florida, and the Family Learning Partnership.
Born in Philadelphia, he began his career in the Oil Recycling Business and founded Miami based World Fuel Services, a World Kinect (NYSE: WKC) company.
Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Nancy whom he cherished for 46 years. He legacy will continue with his four children Edward (Dawn), Evan, Lisa (Darrin) and Ross (Julie), two grandchildren, Scott and Brian and through his love, service, and character.
Funeral service Sunday, December 21, 2025, 1:00 pm at Lakeside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami. Visitation with the family beginning at 12:30 until time of service. Contributions in loving memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
