Lois Joy Beckerman - 5/13/29 - 3/4/24
Lois was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 13, 1929. She was one of four siblings born to Barney and Ray Brauston. She relocated to Lakeland, Florida at age 11 and eventually became a mother of three. She was a founding parent of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Miami and worked for Bell South for 25 years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin Beckerman.
She is survived by her children Preston Lustig, Roy (Sharlene) Lustig, and Bliss (Kevin) McCloskey, her grandchildren Erica Doran and Adam Lustig, and her nieces Bonnie Webman, Laverne Guetz, and Toni McBride.
Lois, like her middle namesake, brought joy to everyone who knew her. She lived a long and fruitful life and will be fondly remembered for her love, poise, and strength. Her memory is a blessing.

A funeral service for Lois will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels at Mount Nebo (Kendall), 5900 SW 77th Ave, Miami, FL 33143.
