She was born in Berlin, Germany on September 11, 1934. The daughter of Bruno and Irma Codik. During the Second World War her family moved from Germany to The Dominican Republic where she met and married Vittorio Labi in 1954.
Surviving are her husband, a sister, Hella Blum, a brother, Manfred Codik (Oneida). Three sons; Marlon (Adria), James (Bruce), and David Labi. Along with four grandchildren, Carolina Labi (Stephen), Aileen Labi, Daniel Labi (Traci), and Michael Labi. Two Great grand children; Drew Labi and Amelia Shultz. Three Nieces; Jaqueline (Rodolfo), Alexandra, Emily(Terrance). And three nephews; John(Edith), Edward (Aileen), and Maurice (Brittany).
A funeral service will be held at Lake Side Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Miami, Florida on Friday, June 24 at 1 pm. A gathering to begin Shiva and a light meal will follow the funeral at her home.
