It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Goldberg, 87 years of age, on July 8th in Key Biscayne, Florida.
Marjorie and her husband Alan, were Key Biscayne residents for the past twenty-seven years. They were also past residents of Westport, Connecticut. Marjorie met the love of her life and beloved husband, Alan Goldberg more than 50 years ago. They were partners in life, in business and in love. Marjorie Goldberg was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She built a successful direct marketing business targeting new parents in New York City. After retiring, Marjorie and Alan traveled for fourteen months on their sailboat Amour V visiting countries in Europe and throughout the Caribbean. When learning that the birth of her twin granddaughters Sara and Nina was imminent, they returned home to a life as proud and doting grandparents. Marjorie will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Marjorie and Alan are survived by four daughters: Hope (Steve Levin), Robin Ventura, Gail (Joe Singer), and Jill (Mark Egert) and seven grandchildren: Sara Ventura, Nina Ventura, Zachary Ventura, Brandon Cohen, Jessica Cohen, Julia Singer, Rachel Singer and a great grandchild, Sonny Ventura Lopez. She is also survived by her sister Terry Heller (Art Heller). She was preceded in death by her much loved husband Alan Goldberg, and by her parents Vera Sovel Flaxman and Harry Sovel.
A graveside service will be held at Lakeside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172, on July 14, 2025, starting at 11:30 am.
Pallbearers will include Brandon Cohen, Art Heller, Michael Heller, Nina Ventura, Sara Ventura, and Zach Ventura.
