Tendrich, Max Israel, beloved husband to Ruth for 71 years, loving father of Adrienne Tendrich, Marlene Lewis, and the late Helene Tendrich and Dianne Tendrich-Carter, father-in-law to Larry Lewis, Tommy Carter and Lewis Rosenthal, cherished grandfather of Marissa Lewis, Debra Tendrich, David Tendrich and his wife, LouLou Levit, and great-grandfather to Amira Tendrich, died at the age of 95, on July 19, 2016.
Max was a dentist in Miami for 45 years. He was an avid golfer and had proudly hit a hole-in-one. He also loved to paint and he loved to dance and make up his own steps! Most of all, he adored being with his family and good friends, sharing a great story or a colorful joke. Max was a Mason and had served as a captain in the army at Camp Polk, Louisiana, during the Korean War. He will always be remembered as a kind and caring person as well as a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, son, brother, and uncle.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Nebo Miami Memorial Gardens Cemetery, at 5505 N.W. 3rd Street, Miami, Florida, 33126. A celebration of his life will follow the service at the home of Steve and Arlyne Waynr3.
Memorial donations may be made to The Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
