Mike.
The kindest man I ever knew.
His heart was full of love for everyone!
Wonderfully happy and go lucky!
I remember so many nights on the back porch of our rental house.
Mike loved music and would gently sway to the music. Such wonderful times!
I love you so much Mike!
I know you're hanging out and having a great time with our Lord and Savior Jesus.
I'm sure the music is beautiful there!!

Mike  was the brother of my nieces husband
Andrew and we got to know him at family
Events like Thanksgiving.  He was so friendly
and personable and I found we had many common interests.   The whole world took
a step back at this loss to humanity. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My name is Concezione Catanzaro, a teacher— a.k.a.(Conchi). I met Mike at New Wave several years ago.
What struck me at the moment was his beautiful smile and warm personality.
I can only send you a big hug and assure you he is highly thought of and remembered.

Friendships are measured not in the frequency of interactions, but in the depth of their impact. Yours was one of those souls whose presence, even when our paths diverged after college, continued to be shared and felt.
It seems impossible that someone with your love of life could be gone so suddenly. You had so much life left to live, so many more stories to create. The world feels dimmer without your light in it.
I'm comforted by the memories—the days on South 3 and Hawaiian Village, trip to Vegas and the inside jokes shared with GPL. Your resilience, ability to find joy in small moments, and showing up for the people you care about made you truly special. Your spirit remains, even when you cannot.
I wish we'd had more time, another conversation, one more chance to reminisce about our college days and catch up on all that's happened since.  But I'm grateful for every moment we did share, for the privilege of knowing you during the UF years when we were figuring out who we wanted to be.
Your life may have been shorter than any of us expected, but it was rich with meaning, with connection, with impact. You touched so many lives, mine included, in ways that will continue to resonate long after your passing.
Rest easy, my friend. You are deeply missed and will never be forgotten.

I will miss you my dear friend, and especially all our intellectual conversations.  Thank you for always laughing at my jokes even the corny ones. I met him at FIU in 2015. We took several courses together. He is such a meritorious, kind and fun person. He is a true gentleman. My sweet friend rest in peace. You are so much loved ❤️

I studied at FIU with Michael. He was a kind, down-to-earth person, and I feel fortunate to have known him.
We spent many evenings at New Wave playing pool and hanging out — memories I will always cherish. I still remember him asking me to play “I Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty on the jukebox there — a small moment that has stayed with me.
My deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

I met Mike through my brother while at college at UF. He was a great friend and one of the chillest person that I have ever met. We hung out basically everyday and spent countless hours watching movies, eating donuts and goofing off in general. My deepest sympathies to his family. He will be missed. Rest in peace Mike.

I’m saddened by Michael’s sudden passing. He was a dedicated PhD student with a clear passion for mathematics and a strong commitment to student education. As his advisor, I valued his contributions and curiosity.

My sincerest condolences to Michael's friends and loved ones. I knew him when he lived in Gainesville. After he moved south, he would still pop up from time to time, always with a smile on his face. The world lost a good man.
