Mr. Philip Jay Gouze, 62 passed away on December , 2014 after a long, brave fight of cancer. Phil was a respected attorney who served his clients competently and faithfully for over 38 years but was by no means defined by his work. He was equally at home in the courtroom as he was under the hood of a car or on a roof performing a repair. Phil's rich life also included a love of travel, fine food, sports, history and politics which he shared with many. Phil's greatest passion, however, was reserved for his many dear friends. Countless lives have been touched by Phil's sense of humor, playfulness, loyalty, generosity and most of all, love. If someone was fortunate to be counted amongst Phil's friends, it was truly a great gift and blessing. This world has lost a great man and a gentle soul who was loved immensely and will be missed by many. Phil is survived by his sister Meta and many relatives friends.
