Randy graduated from Riverwood High School in 1984 and attended Georgia Southern University from 1984 to 1987. In 1987, he married Katie Collins, welcoming Alex Baitcher into the world shortly after. Despite the challenges of young parenthood, Randy juggled owning a pawn shop and a collections agency to provide for his family. Though Randy and Katie eventually parted ways, they maintained a deep friendship, prioritizing love and support for Alex and Ben.
In 2001, Randy married Cheryl Neubacher; in 2002 they welcomed their son, Zachary. With each other's support, Randy and Cheryl boldly leapt into entrepreneurial endeavors - Randy supported Cheryl while she ran an apparel company, and Cheryl supported Randy while he started a consulting firm. As the consulting company gained traction, Randy and Cheryl shifted focus and dedicated themselves to Ultimate Consulting LLC. Despite occasional tough times, their dedication and love to each other and their family remained constant
Randy’s large, extended family was a highlight of his life. He cared deeply about his Mother (Barbara Pinover), it would not be wrong to have referred to him as a “Momma’s boy.” Randy also cared deeply about his two brothers, Allan and Scott, and their families. Often he could be found with Alan going fishing to “catch the big one.” There were so many family parties it would be impossible to count the number of extended family members who should be mentioned here. Over the years, it became quite common to joke that it was not a family party unless there was someone you did not recognize.
A man of integrity, Randy believed in the power of a handshake. He was generous to all and would give the shirt off his back to help a friend. His optimistic outlook and genuine warmth touched everyone he met. Randy had a flair and presence that filled all who knew him with joy, laughter, and maybe just a little bit of consternation.
Randy's passions extended beyond family and business to include playing pool, guitar, mountain biking, skiing, skateboarding, soccer, and, above all, fishing. A devoted soccer player and coach for over 30 years, Randy instilled values of honesty and hard work in his teams, including those of his own children. His love for fishing was legendary, and no doubt, he's regaling all who will listen on heavenly waters with his greatest fishing tale.
Randy leaves behind a multitude of loved ones and countless others whose lives he touched profoundly. He is survived by Cheryl, children Alex (Kristi Baitcher), Zachary, and Ben (Natalie Jones Baitcher), grandchildren Mason, Daniel, and Runa, his beloved mother Barbara, and his brothers Allan and Scott.
