December 1, 1931 - April 6, 2024 Coral Springs, Florida
Ruby Grace Rosenberg, 92, passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by love on April 6, 2024. She went by her middle name, Grace, and was born in Lilly, Georgia to Carrie Ruby Sanders and Edwin Sanders in 1931. She spent her childhood on her family farm before moving to Macon, Georgia and pursuing her nursing degree. She later moved to Atlanta to work at Emory Hospital and clinics. This is where she met her husband, Donald Rosenberg. After he completed his cardiology fellowship they moved to Miami and settled in Keystone Point. They were married for 66 years. Donald preceded her in death on March 6, 2023. Grace was a natural caretaker and took great pride in her work as a nurse. She was generous, warm, and kind, but also embodied strength, resilience and ambition. The qualities that made her so loved by her patients also shone through outside of work; she was an amazing mother and grandmother and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She further extended her generosity though volunteer work at many organizations including the American Heart Association. Grace is survived by her children Robin Dorfman (Alan) and Steven Rosenberg (Rinda), and her four grandchildren: Ian Dorfman (Dana), Cara Dorfman, Alyssa Ford (Jimmy), and Erin Rosenberg. The family will hold a private service and kindly asks that remembrances be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice. Grace is in our hearts forever and will be greatly missed.
