Ana Velia Salas, age 95, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Ana was born on July 15, 1929 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Antonio Salas and children: Diane Marie Rivera, Roberto Neptali Salas, Joe Rodriquez, Edie Salas, Linda Salas, Frankie Salas and Hector Salas. Ana is survived by her children: Emilia Salas Guerra, Antonio Salas, Lisa Socorro Ramos, Stephanie Salas, Sabrina D'Emidio, Ruthie Davis, Manuel Couverthie, Angel Salas, Ray Salas and Joey Salas, 35 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Ana enjoyed dancing, art, music, crochet, traveling, singing, needle point, and praying. Ana was a foster mother to 35 children over the course of her life. Her favorite saying was "For the motherly love I held in my heart for all of you." Ana's love have impacted many people for generations to come.
A visitation for Ana will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Hardage - Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL 32068.
