Barbara Ann Grote, age 89, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Urban and Lucille Roschek and was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Lyle Grote.
Barbara is survived by her sons: Tim (Paula) Powers, Chuck (Sarah) Powers, John (Emelyn) Powers, John (Maribel) Powers, Dennis Grote and David Grote; daughters: Mickey (Brian) Hough, Virginia Casey and Penny Grote; 21 grandchildren: Shannon, Angie, Billy, Becky, Jessica, Ian, Macy, Jeremy, Cristal, Nicolas, Christopher, Barbara, Wayne, Billy, Bobbie, Codey, Scotty, Rolland, Kendra, Jessie and Nicolz; 24 great-grandchildren: Crystal, Timothy, Ashley, Mason, Gage, Faith, Emily, Brantley, Josiah, Atlas, Graylon, Nolan, Kaison, McKema, Dominic, Alexa and Bree; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
