Born November 6, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York to Frank and Marie Magro. She attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Midwood High School. She later moved to South Florida and after 16 years moved to South Carolina. She moved to the Jacksonville area in 1997. Her professional career was being a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and family member. She was a devout Christian, and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her loving spouse Frank Florio, daughter Gina Florio Rosa and son Nicholas Florio, three grandchildren Gianna, Carlayna and Adrianna, mother Marie Magro, sister Regina Bucci and brother William Magro. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Her funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 beginning with a private family viewing at 4:00-5:00 p.m., and 5:00-8:00 p.m. for relatives and friends at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068. Mass service is at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7190 Highway 17 South, Fleming Island, Florida 32003.
