She was a great cook and baker, she enjoyed crafting and creating in many different forms, she loved entertaining for any occasion, and she was a community volunteer. She loved her children and grandchildren and was enjoying getting to know her great granddaughter. She will be missed by family, friends and neighbors.
Charlene was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Glenn Yates and her beloved granddaughter, Sadie Yates, daughter of Steve and Susan; siblings: Michael Hughes, Carl Carter, Delmar Carter and Christie Gottschalk.
Charlene is survived by her children: Steven Yates and wife, Susan Yates, Debra Yates, Kelley Ganey and husband, Rick Ganey; her grandchildren: Matthew Ganey and wife, Emmalee Ganey; and great granddaughter, Ava Kate Daniel Ganey; her sisters: Janet Hoog and Sharon Thomas;
