Fernando Gomez

Fernando Gomez, age 94, of Middleburg, Florida, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Born in Lima, Peru, Fernando lived a full and beautiful life marked by love, devotion, and quiet strength.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Coly C. Gomez of Middleburg, Florida, who remained his steadfast partner and best friend. Fernando was a proud father to Louis “Lou” Gomez (Bethany) of Middleburg, Florida, and Cecilia A. Gomez-Brown (Russell) of Mineral, Virginia. He was a cherished grandfather to Ericca Facetti (Mark) and Anthony Falvo, both of Henrico, Virginia, and Janna Falvo of Spotsylvania, Virginia. His legacy continues through his loving great-grandchildren, Gianna and Leonardo Facetti of Henrico, Virginia.

Fernando was preceded in death by his loving parents, Manuel and Angelica Gomez. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends from near and far who will miss him dearly.

Fernando's warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit will be remembered always and held close in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
