Gerald S. Lear, Jr. (aka Jerry) went home to be with Jesus on September 17th 2012. Jerry was born on November 16, 1953 in Portsmouth, VA. Jerry was preceded in death by his loving father Gerald S. Lear, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted and loving mother, Princess Pat Lear, his sister Beverly Lear Beardsley (Willie), nephew Terrence Jerald Westerman, niece Angela Marie Schminke (Steve), three great-nephews, Lucian Gerald Westerman, Tyler and Hunter Schminke. Jerry loved the Lord and proclaimed his salvation. Jerry attended Christian Faith Center in Middleburg FL. Jerry really enjoyed visiting with others and never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors, the ocean and fishing. He was an avid lover of music. He had a very big heart and always thought of helping others. He fed many hungry people in his life time. Jerry had a wonderful sense of humor and kept us all in stitches. He will be greatly loved and missed forever. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Rd. Middleburg, FL 32068.
