

Gisele lived a life rooted in faith. She was a devoted believer who placed God at the center of everything she did and lived her life in service to Him and others. Her passion for ministry was evident throughout her lifetime, as she served in many capacities—always generously sharing her wisdom, creativity, and time.
She was a graduate of Colonial High School in Winter Park, Florida, and went on to pursue extensive theological education. Gisele earned her Doctorate in Religious Philosophy in Christian Psychology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary, along with a Master of Religious Arts in Theology and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education.
Gisele treasured meaningful conversations, especially over a cup of coffee with family and friends—moments she deeply cherished. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and express herself creatively. She adored her poodle, Lexi, who brought her great joy and companionship.
Known for her strength and perseverance, Gisele faced years of health challenges with remarkable courage and grace. Her tenacity and willingness to help others were hallmarks of her character. Professionally, she spent many years as a pest management professional, faithfully serving numerous families throughout the Orange Park community.
Above all, Gisele was a dedicated and loving mother who gave her very best to her three sons. She loved life and treasured time spent with family and friends, leaving behind memories filled with warmth, faith, and love.
Gisele is survived by her mother, Violet McDonald; her three sons, Trevor McDonald, Jeremiah McDonald, and Jordan McDonald; her three brothers, Lewis McDonald, Stewart McDonald, and Christopher McDonald; and her four grandchildren, Jacob McDonald, Ansley McDonald, Grant McDonald, and Zachariah McDonald, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends.
A Memorial / Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, located at 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida. All family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate Gisele’s life, faith, and the legacy she leaves behind.
