Joyce Ann Hicks, 82, of Middleburg, Fl., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at her home in Middleburg, Fl. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Luke’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 6th, 2011, at 9 AM, with services by Father Andy Blaszkowski. Joyce was a homemaker, loving wife and Mother, and a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Middleburg, Fl. Joyce was born on December 27th, 1928, the daughter of the late Pansy Elizabeth Perry and James McGee of WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Hicks, a son Timothy Hicks of Huntington, WV; a daughter, Gloria McCracken of Gainesville, Fl; and a sister, Nancy McGee of Huntington, WV. She is survived by her three sons, four daughters, and son and daughter-in-laws, Anthony Hicks of Huntington; Danny (Patti) Hicks of Columbus, OH, Michael Hicks and Ruth Horner of Huntington, WV; Julianne Bailey of Atlanta, GA; Kitty (Tim) Jordan of Fleming Island, Fl, Maria (Drew) Kingston of Orange Park, Fl and Nancy (Ralph) Holley of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Marian (Danny) Jones of Huntington, WV; Toni Laura (Frank) Ross, of NY; and 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5th, 2011, at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL.
