Judy Yates Atkinson, age 70 of Middleburg, Florida, passed away with her family by her side on March 6th, 2024. She was born to parents Ann Jennings and Raymond Yates on October 2, 1953 in Danville, Virginia.
Judy spent 12 years in the U.S. NAVY; a beloved mother and wife and grandmother.
She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her loved ones and friends and cooking. On September 12, 1998 she married Thomas W. Atkinson and together they raised two children Archie and Angie. She achieved several awards in the Navy and Associates Degrees from FCCJ, Jacksonville and Central Texas College. She leaves behind a husband Thomas W. Atkinson. Son, Archie E. Lappin and daughter-in-law Crystal. Four grandchildren, AJ. Kingston, Raelynn and Parker Lappin.
