Kim Scott Raye, age 65, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Kim worked at Clay County Utility Authority, where he just celebrated 40 years of service. Kim was a man with many certifications/skills and touched many lives mentoring all. Kim loved NHRA drag racing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Kim enjoyed helping and cooking for everyone, always providing a great time.
He was predeceased by his parents: James Daniel Raye and Marjorie Faircloth Raye. Kim is survived by his two daughters: Melissa Rickus,(Tracey), and Angela Whitten (Robert); sisters Sherry Yellott (Hank), and Jadie Alton (Ernie); 4 grandchildren: James, Chloe, Jesse and Caleb; and a host of extended family and friends. Along with his family, Kim leaves behind many dear friends and co-workers who will miss him immensely.
Memorial services will be held 11 AM, Saturday July 10th, 2021 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at 10AM.
