Linda Ruth Moatz

Linda Ruth Moatz, age 80, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL to the late, Roy and Pearl Smith. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Harvey Moatz in 2021 and son, Justin Charles Moatz.

She is survived by her son, Stephen C. Moatz of Middleburg, FL; her daughter, Jessica Strange (Doug) of Jacksonville, FL; and her grandchildren, Erica Bethea, Tyler Carroll (Aubrie), Hunter Carroll, Lauren Moatz, Nathan Moatz, Shelby Carroll, Sarah Strange, and Elizabeth Strange; her great-grandchildren, Landen Bethea, Rylie Carroll, Logan Bethea, Natalie Carroll, and Everleigh Carroll; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on 5-7 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME AND MEMORIAL PARK, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM, Friday, September 20, 2024 at the funeral Home. Committal will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1 PM in Lane 2.
