Margie Carpenter, 77, passed away peacefully April 23, 2015. She was born on October 20, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Margie was a retired CNA. She enjoyed dancing and dining out, Golden Corral, coffee, peanut brittle, licorice and candy. She also enjoyed garage sales, thrift stores and a clean house. She enjoyed classic country music by Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline as well as western movies. Margie loved family gatherings, babies, her grandkids and holidays like Christmas and Easter. She made sure each grandchild got a Christmas.
Margie is survived by 5 Sons: Clifton, Clay, Clinton, John and Chuck; 2 Daughters: Cindi Carpenter and Cheryl Trautner (Dean); 2 Brothers: Jimmy Ulmer and Richard Ransom; 2 Sisters: Glory Pulliam and Nancy Ransom; 16 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home at 10:30 AM with Father Andy Blaszkowski officiating.
