Orbin Echols

Orbin Ira Echols, age 97, passed away at his Jacksonville, Florida home on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Orbin was born on September 3, 1923 in Denver, Colorado to Orbin Ira Echols and Jennie Thorson Echols. Orbin proudly served in the United States Army. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Orbin will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters Sundae Stubbs, Cindy Parson and husband, Larry and Tracee White and husband, Glenn. He also had five grandchildren Shauna Brooks (Kim) , Chris Stubbs (Stephanie), J Lacy Parson, Chelsy Parson, and Julie White (Jarrod Allen); and five great grandchildren Jayden Stubbs, Nathan Stubbs, Tyler Altland , Samantha Altland, and Jayce Bentley Allen. He is also survived by a special family friend, Rose Haehnel.

The family will gather at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068 for a graveside service. The family will received friends one hour prior inside the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.
