

Regina Margaret Clayton, born on September 7, 1945, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to the late Bertha (Regina) and John Sullivan, passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026, at the age of 80. Regina was a resident of Middleburg, Florida.
Regina was known for her inspirational, kind-hearted, selfless, and thoughtful nature. As a licensed practical nurse, she dedicated her life to helping others, caring for those in need with compassion and grace. She was also a devoted Navy wife, serving alongside her husband at several military bases throughout the United States before settling at their final assignment at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville. Wherever they were stationed, Regina was devoted to making each new port a true home for her husband, son, and family, filling every place with warmth, love, and stability.
Regina was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Thomas Lee Clayton, in 2004, her son Thomas Lee Clayton, Jr. in 2025, and her brother John "Jack" Sullivan, Jr. She is survived by her loving and devoted sister Joan Ann Noonan, sister-in-law Linda Sullivan, cousin James Kelly (Daneille), and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, and friends.
A member of Black Creek Methodist Church for over 20 years, Regina had a true servant's heart. She always searched for, showed love to others, and looked forward to helping with Vacation Bible School every year. An avid Jaguar fan, she was a proud season ticket holder and enjoyed playing cards, going to Zumba classes, Line Dancing, and traveling with friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at Black Creek Methodist Church, located at 3925 Main Street, Middleburg, Florida 32068.
