

Sandra K. Romano, a beloved and compassionate individual, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 75. A resident of Orange Park, Florida, Sandra was known for her devotion to her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Born on May 22, 1950, Sandra lived a life filled with love, humor, and inspiration.
Sandra's career began in the field of emergency medical services, where she worked as an EMT, demonstrating her hard-working nature and dedication to helping others. She later transitioned to a career at Town and Country Dry Cleaners, where she worked diligently until her retirement.
Sandra married Gary Romano on June 13, 1969, and together they built a loving home and family. She is survived by her sons, Gary Romano, Jr., and his wife Roxanne, and Dominic Romano, and his wife Sandy. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Elaine Del Rosario, Alex Sullivan, and Erin Sullivan. Sandra is also survived by her brothers, Nick Chapman and Chuck Henson, along with his wife Vickie, and her sister, Lynda Phinney, and her husband Mike. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Wilma Chapman.
In her personal life, Sandra was a member of the Eastern Star in her younger years and was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and trying her luck at slot machines, pursuits that brought her joy and relaxation.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068, on December 11, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the visitation, a committal service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park at the same address, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Pastor Jimmy Thomas to officiate.
