Theodora Block, age 69 passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. She was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Theodore and Ruth Shrum. She was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Rodney Block and brother, Michael Shrum.
Teddie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She never met a stranger and was gifted in making those around her laugh and have fun. Teddie loved to read, do puzzles, attend church, and enjoy meals with her family and friends. She had a generous heart and sponsored several students in her church to go to camp and other youth group activities. She was also a dog lover and doted on her “granddogs”.
Theodora is survived by her three daughters: Jennifer (Keith) Meyers, Rebecca (Paul) Rhoades and Cynthia (John Williams) Block; brother, Tracy Shrum; sister, Tamm Shrum; two grandsons: Daniel and Jacob; and a host of extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and church family. Services will be held Saturday, April 26th at 3pm at the Argyle Church of Christ with an interment following at a later date in Ohio.
