Timothy Mermann

Timothy Gerard Mermann, 47, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2012 in Bluffton, South Carolina, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Flushing, New York on January 21, 1965, Tim grew up on Long Island, N.Y. and was a long-time resident of New York City. Tim graduated from St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip, N.Y., from Berklee College of Music, magna cum laude, in Boston, Mass., and from New York Law School in New York, N.Y., and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2009. Tim was a diligent and dedicated attorney, a talented musician, an avid reader, a historian and a movie buff. Tim is survived by his beloved son, Brendon Robert Mermann and Brendon's mother, Tricia Burt. Loving and devoted son of Brendon Reid and the late Charlene Ann Mermann. Cherished brother of Brenda Dazey (Frank), Kelly Dougherty (Joe), Terry Mermann (Michelle), Mary Blazek (David), and Maureen Rubendall (Rich). Devoted uncle of Matt and Ryan Russell, Robert and Michael Dazey, Kaitlin Hotard, Daniel Mermann, Christopher and Catherine Tillitski, Daniel and Ashley Blazek and Joseph Rubendall. Tim's intellect and wit, his bright smile and infectious laugh will be forever etched in the minds of those who knew him and loved him. His family and friends will miss him greatly, but are comforted knowing his soul is in Heaven for eternity. A funeral Mass to be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Middleburg, Florida.
