Wade Willis Johnson, born on April 4, 1958, passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Helen L. Johnson and Robert B. Johnson. The family moved that year to Jacksonville, Florida and Wade grew up in Neptune Beach. His parents, brother Robert B. Johnson, Jr. and sister Mary Jane Burgess predeceased him but he is survived by sister Lois J. Thomas, niece Amy N. Burgess and nephew Terry A. Goins. Wade was a Christian who believed strongly, especially in tithing and helping others. He loved all kinds of music and played the guitar. He loved his family and he is well loved by them. Wade was a blessing to many and will be missed by all who knew him.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
