She is survived by four daughters, Rachel Edwards of Dunn, North Carolina, Geri Dowd and husband, Bill, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Frances Keith of Nashville, Tennessee, and Bonnie Cumbee of Charleston, South Carolina; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at Bible Baptist Church in Matthews, North Carolina, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Mint Hill, North Carolina.
