Mrs. Elizabeth Lib Maxine Dulin Brown

Born May 23, 1935, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, Lib was a daughter of the late Daniel Frank Dulin and Burl Love Dulin. She was a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School. Lib worked with Hudson Hosiery Mill, and later retired from Pelton & Crane after 24 years of service. She was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Lib was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Daniel Brown; brothers, Samuel, John and Bill Dulin; and sisters, Josephine Dulin, Evelyn Osborne, Dorothy Roberts, Lois Robinson and Betty Kimbro.

Surviving are her daughters, Sonya Brown of Cary, North Carolina, and Jill Barbee and husband, Brad, of Leland, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Caleb Jones and Cassidy Jones; and her sister, Mary Frances Hough of Midland, North Carolina.

Friends and family are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 until 11:00 am Wednesday, August 28, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend John Harrill will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
