Benita passed away surrounded by family on October 4, 2015 in West Hills, CA. Benita had been suffering from illness related to a debilitating stroke suffered in November 2014.
Benita was born and passed on the same day, 67 years apart, confirming just how special she truly is.
Benita, Teri as her friends called her, lived in Temecula, CA for the past 27 years. A homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother, Benita is survived by her husband of 47 years, Simon, an Air Force Veteran. Survivors include three sons and their spouses, Jeffrey and Rachel Buchbinder, Jason and Laurie Buchbinder and Adam and Wendy West. Surviving grandchildren include Bradley, Shane, Zabian, Nathaniel, Caleb and Zoey. Surviving step-parents include Irwin Goldstein and Linda Palmer. She also has brothers and sisters to include Ruth, David, Eric, Mary, and Larry.
Benita is buried at Eden Memorial Cemetery in Mission Hills, CA.
