Carole was a loving mother to Jill Newman; proud and doting "Nana" to grandsons Mitchell and Elliott Montbriand; dependable sister to Pati and Steve Stoliar; loving aunt to Jennifer Kirmse and Robin Sloan, and she was a great friend - to a great many.
Carole had a terrific, infectious sense of humor. She loved singing silly songs, traveling internationally, taking cruises, playing cards and dominoes with friends, and reading voraciously.
Her family and friends have lost an extraordinary woman, and to say that she will be greatly missed would be a vast understatement.
